The final step for this week will be to add two recipes to your repertoire that are rich in healthy fats and easy on an Earth Mama’s digestive system. I am going to make this the simplest liver cleanse you have seen. Start every day with an apple cider vinegar and water tonic. 
Feeling Too Much
Apple cider vinegar helps with fatty liver and gut health by improving the gut microbiome and helping in the metabolism of fat. The best brands of vinegar are raw and organic. Drink a cup of dandelion tea daily. Dandelion is a liver purifier and can help support the liver. We have talked a bunch about the microbiome because digestion is a key theme for my Earth Mamas. Take one per day with breakfast. Choline is a phospholipid that helps to metabolize fat and regulate insulin. It is found naturally in eggs and organ meats like liver, but I often have Earth Mama patients add 1 gram of choline as a daily supplement to facilitate liver support. Earth Mamas need them too. Your sleepy digestive system needs a push to break down foods and keep your metabolism humming. Look for a product containing amylase, lipase, and protease, which help you break down starch, protein, and fat. I have seen a few digestive enzymes that contain ox bile, which also helps further with fat metabolism, but they may be harder to find. Feeling That Way
This supplement is vital for a healthy body and liver! Check out the list below and in your menu plan. Long known as a healing food in Chinese and Ayurvedic medicine, bone broth is still prescribed as medicine to the sick, nursing moms, and anyone who has had a traumatic life event. Even though this recipe uses beef and chicken bones, it doesn’t contain the actual meat that Earth Mamas find difficult to digest. This is a traditional Indian dish made of an easily digestible and highly nutritious mix of rice and mung beans. Soaking the mung beans overnight and then cooking them under pressure makes them an easily digestible source of protein. The rice is purposely cooked to an almost mushy consistency, so that it is easy on the digestive system. Your liver and gut are in better shape, you have bid sugar adieu, and your forced break from meat hopefully has you experimenting with other sources of protein. One more week to go! Phase 3 may be the most important part of your plan since in many ways you might find these steps to be your biggest challenge. Many times, we are surrounded by relationships that require us to be the epicenter but also drain us and are not replenishing. Use these next 7 days to look closely at your relationships and answer the following relationship balance questions. Hopefully these will help you to identify the energy drains in your life and show you where you need to take time to care for yourself. You can do all the diet, supplement, and medical steps, but if there is a constant, nagging drain on your energy, the results will be minimal. Ignore The Signs Of Fatigue
1.You are the giver in almost every single one of the relationships in your life. Make sure that you prioritize the next two steps. People tend to neglect their own needs in favor of their other life demands, family, work, and friends. You might not feel like you have time for both of these strategies, but making sure to take time for them will actually give you more energy all day long. I want you to think of yourself as your own child. What is it that your child needs? What is it that nurtures you? For example, use your hands to make pottery, knit, or draw. Some women have trouble with this step. Your entire Power Plan will collapse without it. Foster relationships with people who sustain and support you, not just need something from you. I’ve included several simple recipes for cleansers, toners, moisturizers, and conditioners. These 21 days are your ticket, your passport, back to yourself. As you move past the plan, stick with the parts you love and maybe let up a little on the no meat and no sugar. Return here when your energy and your psyche start to fray as a reminder to always work on the foundation, the roots of you, before you give yourself away. You’ve accomplished so much. You may find that you’ve moved to a different Power Type by shifting your chemistry in these last 3 weeks. Continue to practice Earth Mama steps and menus until they are truly a daily habit.
