New Phase Of Awareness In Your Life
It felt like we had to get really good at allowing each other the space we needed to shine and to thrive. It felt like we had to get really good at allowing each other the space we needed to shine and to thrive. I think it all boils down to grace and being aware enough to not take everything so personally. At Christmastime a few years ago, I was shopping in Whole Foods in Las Vegas, and I heard two elderly ladies conversing and then ending their interaction. One of the women said, I wish for you what I wish for myself. She reached out and held both of the other lady’s hands, and there was a lovely energetic exchange of consciousness. This phrase also spoke very deep volumes about what it actually requires to raise your vibration and be the essence of that which you desire. This practice is not for the fainthearted because it can be extremely confronting for sure. Sometimes it’s hard to extend kindness when you feel like your prayers have gone unanswered by the Universe. He is such an incredible leader of our team and our company culture, and he ensures that our business runs smoothly. In 2017, he was invited to speak onstage in front of three thousand people at one of the largest conventions on the topic of digital marketing. He was going to use the SarahProut.com
Just Push Play
brand as a case study. In just a few days, he had prepared a keynote, even though he hadn’t had any professional speaker training. He bought a sharp, tailored Ted Baker suit, and as soon as he was onstage, he looked like a million bucks. He crushed his presentation, and when I was watching him address the crowd, I have never been prouder. I told him he was good, but secretly, I was threatened by how good he was. However, this experience gave me the beautiful opportunity to ask myself some questions about how I could claim my own power in that way. Just two years later, Sean had his own funky feelings of wanting to speak again when it was my turn to take the stage in Bali. It’s ultimately a space of cocreating. When we got married in 2013, our first dance wedding song was Mirrors by Justin Timberlake. These evocative lyrics spoke to me as we definitely have been each other’s mirrors over the years. When we can truly get into a space of support for the people we love in our life and ditch our own unclaimed, disowned parts of ourselves that get boosted by ego, then we can be the love we desire to experience. Part of moving into this new phase of awareness in your life is to examine the people that you surround yourself with. Tug Of War
How will they impact your life in the future? The fastest way to tell if someone in your life is toxic is how they are able to celebrate the joy in your life without making it about themselves. Of course, in any friendship or relationship, you should construct a mutually beneficial support system where there is a lot of give and a lot of take, but not just take, take, take. Sometimes you can even have people in your life who want to sabotage your success because they don’t feel very good about themselves. These people will poop on your parade like nobody’s business. Sometimes it’s so subtle you don’t even know that they are slowly chiseling away at your sense of self. When you get out of your own head and you give from a place of not expecting anything in return, then you will experience emotional freedom. It will distract you from suffering or anything crappy happening in your life right now and give you an opportunity to lead from your soul. The good news is that life is cyclic, and that as time progresses, you will heal your wounds or perceived difficulties and turn them into wisdom. I believe that this manifested because I wasn’t yet truly grounded in my personal power. Only a few months earlier, I did two rounds of an incredible speakers’ boot camp. I invested in this powerful training because I wanted to hone my skills as a speaker on a stage. I wanted to be more confident with my message and how I delivered it. With Every Wish
Before we began the boot camp, the trainers emailed us a script to memorize that we would deliver in front of the other seminar attendees. The time came for me to deliver the rehearsed script, and the way it worked was that we had to deliver the piece of content until everyone in the room agreed in unison that we’d nailed it. What constituted completion was tone, body language, confidence, eye contact, and use of the space on the stage. It took me over forty times to get it right. In the beginning, I truly believed that I was speaking loudly. There are seven energy centers, or chakras, in the body, and my throat chakra must have been about as blocked as a toilet with severe plumbing issues. I had all these symptoms and realized that I had the voice of a girl and not of a woman. It was time for me to step into the ownership of my power. When I learned how to fully embrace the power of my voice, my words, and being more intentional with my communication skills, my entire world began to change. Just a few months of my newfound skill, I was offered two highly lucrative speaking gigs in New York and New Jersey. I reflect with gratitude for the year that is ending and then turn my attention to what I am excited to create and attract next. I will manifest a speaking gig at the same event as Tony Robbins. Keep in mind that I was still super shy and timid, and I set this intention way out of my comfort zone.
