The Outcome In Your Mind First

It’s so exciting to do things you wouldn’t normally do. When we choose togetherness and oneness, then we have the power to heal the collective energy of humanity. My face felt frozen, but we stood in deep reverence from the experience and then walked back to the car. In this particular experience, my dad could have chosen to stay afraid, to not fly across the world to visit us in America, or to not climb up that hill. That’s an act of moving toward oneness rather than staying separate because of being afraid. It’s a memory that I will love and cherish forever. We can also move toward oneness, or we can move away through the process of separation. My family and I decided to venture into town to have breakfast at the Cosmopolitan. It was crowded and slightly chaotic. Tourists, shoppers, and sightseers were all swarming around us. As we crossed the bridge from the Cosmopolitan to the Aria Resort and Casino, we were approached by what appeared to be a Buddhist monk. The man had very broken English.

Before any money was handed over, he placed prayer beads around my wrist. I looked to Sean to give a small donation. This is your lucky day! Sean said as he handed over the cash. Oh, my bighearted husband! My heart always melts at his generosity. Sean explained the donation was from both of us and he would correct it with the pen, and the monk started to appear agitated. At first, he was grateful, and then when he realized there was no more money, his hand gestures became super weird and aggressive. We walked away quickly to get to our next location. After about five minutes, I told Sean that the mala beads felt weird. My intuition was telling me to take them off. They didn’t feel right. Even Lulu was willing to part with them because she sensed they felt funky. Sometimes I get strange vibes from things, and the mala necklace was giving me the creeps.

Moment To Moment

You know, Sean, I think that was some kind of scam, I said. Sure enough, a quick online search revealed that the panhandling, hustling monk scam was a thing. It’s not just in Vegas but in many cities around the world. He needs the money more than I do, Sean said. I felt a little mad at first and then decided to let it go. After all, nothing that is truly yours can ever be lost. I teach this to my manifesting students, so it was an opportunity to walk the talk. Strengthened intuition to feel the energy of a situation A reminder to pay attention to our environment and not get swept up with the hustle and bustle of others around us A reminder to always ask what the money is intended for A reminder to not be so naive to believe that someone dressed in spiritual attire is actually spiritual When we pondered this interaction, we realized it was a valuable lesson in awareness and energy management. This was worth way more than just a hundred dollars. In fact, this lesson could have saved us thousands of dollars. Sometimes you might not know what you want until you can picture it. Let’s take the idea of buying a new dress, for example.

Stretch Your Hands And Keep Stretching Them

You see that it looks great on the hanger or on the photo of it in the online store. You might buy it before trying it on, only to discover that it doesn’t quite fit right when you wear it. The same is for your goals, intentions, and how you perceive experiences. There are so many resources out there about the art of visualization, so it can feel a little difficult to know where to begin. Studies show there are numerous great benefits to picturing the outcome in your mind first. If you are in this game of life, you need to get really good at how to play it. So where do you start? I have been practicing the art of creative visualization for at least thirty years. I was around ten years old when I started. I would visualize what it would be like to spend time with the boy that I had a crush on. I would picture myself sitting under a tree with beautiful pink cherry blossoms covering its branches. I would visualize, I would feel calm and peaceful, and it was like a utopian experience. Imaginative daydreaming is a really interesting and powerful tool to engage in. The great thing about remembering your powers of visualization is that you can start to do that now, whether you are wanting to attract true love, whether you are wanting to attract abundance. You have that ability within you to know what ultimately will serve you the most. When I was fourteen, I loved drawing so much. I would create bright and vibrant designs that looked like colorful wallpaper from the 1960s. I mostly drew what I called cosmic flowers, and they had a very definite style to them. On a long school vacation, I decided to send my designs to the top greeting card and wrapping paper manufacturers to see if they’d be interested in printing my work. Weeks passed, and I didn’t hear anything back. During this time, I visualized what it would feel like to see my wrapping paper designs on the shelves of the top department stores around the world and with the paper having my name stamped on it. Every night before bed, I could see in my mind’s eye the colorful displays of my work and how great it felt to know I had created something from just a tiny idea. Sure enough, I got a call from an executive at Hallmark, the largest greeting card manufacturer in the world, to come in for a meeting. I had to tell her that I was fourteen, which further intrigued her, and my dad had to drive me to the meeting.
